MARV Review

Verity? Please. It’s like watching a beige room with a slightly-too-loud spotlight. Focus, people, because subtlety is a concept lost in a sea of forced sadness and painfully overwrought melodrama. Lowen Ashleigh, the hapless protagonist, spends a decent amount of time staring into a void, which, frankly, is ironic considering the plot’s premise. And Jeremy Crawford? A desperate man clinging to a delusional narrative of marital bliss. The Crawfords? They look like they lost a screaming match with a particularly enthusiastic flock of pigeons. It's all surface, darling, a shallow, ultimately meaningless spectacle designed to induce pity. Prepare for an intellectual workout; you'll need a very large bottle of brandy.
