MARV Review

Let’s just say, it’s a beige-colored mausoleum of cinematic mediocrity. Clooney’s performance, predictably, is the only thing remotely interesting, though even that’s wearing a particularly vacant expression. The whole thing feels like a poorly-executed, overly-polished advertisement for a film that’s been doing the same thing for, well, forever. Ron? A wallpaper swatch of desperation. The flashbacks? A slideshow of tired tropes. It's a monument to predictable, self-indulgent storytelling, and frankly, I’ve seen more compelling narratives in a grocery store.
